Joining a server does not mean consenting to any and all collection.
Bots must access only the data required for moderation, security, and clearly disclosed features. This policy does not authorize profiling, unlimited surveillance, data sales, or use outside the purposes below.
Who is responsible for processing?
AZIMOV Esports acts as the controller of data processed directly by its websites, bots, moderation teams, and official Marvel Rivals Brazil and Overwatch Brazil communities.
Discord also performs its own processing under its terms and privacy policy. This notice covers only decisions and operations controlled by AZIMOV.
Privacy and data-rights contact: contato@azimovesports.com.
What data may we collect?
User ID, username, display name, nickname, avatar, banner, image changes, roles, server membership, and related dates.
Message content and metadata in monitored channels, attachments, links, reactions, edits, deletions, reports, commands, and bot interactions.
Status changes when provided by Discord, server joins and leaves, moderation activity, and technical events needed for automations.
Channel joined, join and leave times, duration, and platform states such as muted, deafened, camera on, or streaming.
Warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans, evidence, reports, support history, and decisions made by the team.
Selected language, cookie preference, and technical records such as IP address, date, visited page, browser, and errors when logged by the server or provider.
Why do we process this data?
- Enforce rules and prevent abuse, spam, fraud, harassment, and security threats.
- Investigate reports and preserve evidence connected to incidents or sanctions.
- Keep audit records so moderation actions can be consistent and reviewed.
- Run commands, roles, tickets, events, and features requested by users or administrators.
- Create aggregated, non-identifying statistics to improve communities.
- Comply with legal duties and authority orders, and exercise rights in proceedings.
Legal grounds may include legitimate interests, requested procedures, legal obligations, the establishment or exercise of legal claims, and consent when actually required. The applicable ground depends on the purpose and must respect necessity, fairness, transparency, and data-subject rights.
We do not use Discord data for targeted advertising, sale, commercial databases, discrimination, personal profiling, or AI model training.
How long do we keep data?
Data must not be kept indefinitely. We use the following default maximum periods unless a demonstrated need, a valid deletion request, or a legal requirement applies:
| Category | Default period | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Presence, avatar, and routine voice metadata | Up to 90 days | Diagnostics, security, and recent audits. |
| Messages, edits, deletions, and moderation logs | Up to 180 days | Report investigations and decision reviews. |
| Tickets and support requests | Up to 180 days after closure | Continuity and proof of support. |
| Evidence tied to sanctions or disputes | Up to 2 years | Exercise of legal rights, limited to the case. |
| Anonymized statistics | While useful | They cannot identify users. |
When the purpose ends, data will be deleted or anonymized. Deletion requests will be honored unless another lawful reason requires retention.
What are your rights?
Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation and access, correction, sharing information, anonymization, blocking or deletion of excessive or unlawful data, portability where applicable, review of automated decisions, objection, and withdrawal of consent.
Email contato@azimovesports.com with only what is needed to locate the record, such as your Discord ID and relevant server. We may perform a proportionate identity check before providing or deleting data.
Children and teenagers
Our communities and bots are not directed at anyone below the minimum age required by Discord and applicable law. Teenagers' data requires enhanced protection and consideration of their best interests. Accounts apparently below the permitted age may be removed and reported through the proper channels.
Security and incidents
We apply role-based access, administrative audit logs, credential protection, backups, and encryption appropriate to the risk. Bot tokens must never appear in public code or accessible channels.
Incidents likely to create relevant risk or harm will be assessed, contained, and reported to users, Discord, and competent authorities when required.
Policy updates
We may update this policy when bots, services, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be highlighted on the website and, when they affect communities, in official Discord channels.
